Your Address Stays Private
An Asker's exact address or pickup location is never shown to Givers browsing lists. It is revealed to exactly one person: the Giver who has locked that list — and only for as long as that Bag Drop is active.
Purchases are Verified
A Giver must confirm the purchase with a receipt before a bag is marked as on its way. The Asker sees Purchase Pending, Purchase Verified and Ready for Drop-Off as real states, not guesses.
The Three-Hour Failsafe
When a Giver locks a list, a three-hour timer starts. If the purchase is not confirmed in time, the list is automatically unlocked, returned to the community as a Priority request, the Asker receives an apology, and a warning is recorded on the Giver's profile.
Nothing Sensitive is Public
Eligibility details and financial information are visible only to the person who entered them. Giver profiles show contribution and standing — never payment details.
Asking is Not a Favour
Askers choose what they actually need rather than receiving a fixed box. No one should feel ashamed for asking their neighbors for help.
Money You Can Follow
Community Bank donations and payouts are recorded per ZIP code and visible to everyone in that community. Bag Drop takes no revenue from the Bank.
What Still Needs a Partner Service
Bag Drop is honest about what is live today. Accounts, communities, Bag Drop Lists, list locking, the three-hour failsafe, receipt uploads, notifications, confirmations, thank-you notes, challenges, badges, leaderboards and Community Bank records all work now. Issuing real Bag Drop payment cards restricted by merchant category, settling donations, running identity or income verification, and sending email or SMS alerts require regulated third-party providers. Those parts are built as clearly marked connection points rather than simulated flows.
